The recipe that I use for frosting:
1 stick butter
4 C. powdered sugar
some milk to add to desired consistency, about 1/4 C. but drizzle in desired amount, don't just dump in 1/4 C.
1 cap of vanilla or 1 tsp.
dash of salt
some cocoa powder if you want chocolate frosting
