So tell me, what do you like to do for the 4th of July? What do you like to eat, who do you like to have over, etc., etc.? Do you go all out or is it a casual holiday for you?
I am trying to decide if we will do a cookout on Monday the 5th since we typically don't do cook out type things on Sundays around here. We actually don't do much for July 4th anyway. Where we live is a downer as far as fireworks go. But a swim party BBQ with some of our favorite people sounds like it's in order. I love 3 day weekends, it will be nice, I am looking forward to it.
I'm thinking:
Hamburgers/hot dogs and/or brats
Potato salad
Chips/dip
watermelon
Maybe beans, haven't decided yet.
Soda pop
Probably some kind of ice cream on a stick for the dessert.
Just want you to know I appreciate the work you do to put this together every week - it really helps me with my shopping.
ReplyDeleteHappy to hear it. It's not always concise or on time but I am working on improving. I need to find someone who can help me figure out how to make the lists and recipes able to be copied. By the way, your baby is a doll.
